Let’s start with the shit you saw coming the Apple exec in charge of the iPhone has been canned following a string of stumbles with the launch of the new device.

The iPhone 4, has been beset by issues such as poor antenna reception and product delays. A falling out with Apple GodFather himself Steve Jobs was apparently the last straw. 49 year old Mark Papermaster, was only on the job for 15 months before he got the can… insiders say the former IBM exec never really jelled with the company..

Now here’s the shit I’m sure you never expected…

HP, the printer and peripheral king announced late on Friday that it’s CEO Mark Hurd would resign effective immediately. The company said its investigation found Hurd had violated its standards of conduct policy.

Hurd, who is married, failed to tell the board about a personal relationship with a female marketing contractor who was hired by his office, the company said. Additionally, he filed inaccurate expense account reports in a bid to keep the relationship secret.

That female marketing contractor has been identified as former soft porn actress and reality star Jodie Fisher. If you’re not familiar here is some of Fisher’s work

Fisher and Hurd met while she was working as a contractor for Hewlett-Packard’s marketing department from 2007 to 2009. Fisher earned up to $5,000 per event to help organize and greet and introduce executives at functions.

Hurd conceded Friday that “there were instances in which I did not live up to the standards and principles of trust, respect and integrity that I have espoused at HP.”

Yeah man, Well the car of the future is finally here… over the last couple of weeks GM has been unveiling their first franchise electric car the Chevy volt… We first got a glimpse of the chevy volt 3 years ago… since then GM has been fine tuning the model…

GM says it has invested $700 million in upgrades for various Michigan plants to build the Volt. GM is hoping to make the best vehicle in it’s class…

The Obama administration has put its weight, and billions of dollars, behind an effort to develop electric cars and batteries in the United States. During the 2008 presidential campaign, then-Sen. Barack Obama pledged to put 1 million plug-in vehicles on the road by 2015. Whether he succeeds could depend in part on whether the Leaf and the Volt are priced low enough to be quickly embraced by consumers.

The Volt will retail for about $41,000 which makes it considerably more expensive than comparably sized cars that run on gas, such as the Honda Civic or the Ford Focus, each of which costs under $20,000. The companies are relying on a $7,500 tax credit on the vehicles to make them more palatable to consumers.

The Volt is expected to arrive in dealerships by early 2011…
