First off fans of James Cameron’s Avatar will have reason to cream their jeans… not only is the release of Avatar in 3D on Blu-ray on it’s way (just in time for the holidays) but 20th Century Fox announced over the weekend that Cameron has signed on to direct Avatar 2 and 3, expected to be released in 2014 and 2015 respectively…

Now supposedly Cameron will begin writing the films early next year supposedly, and will begin filming Avatar 2 at the end of the year. Actors, plots and other sort of details haven’t been confirmed yet — I doubt Cameron himself even knows, but Cameron says that he’s plans to experiment with new technologies…
Now fans of the world’s second greatest breakthrough in cinema within the past 10 years will have reasons to rejoice… that’s because the Lord of the Rings Prequel, the Hobbit, is officially on it’s way. The Prime Minister of New Zealand, where the first 3 films were filmed, pretty much guaranteed it… granting some $15 million in tax breaks to keep the franchise with the Kiwis.
Those of you out there holding your breath waiting for the white iPhone 4 may need to take a breath, that’s because rumor has it that the phone will either be delayed until next Spring or killed all together. Insiders say that the device may be pushed back to March but everyone knows that Apple releases a new version of their devices
every June like clockwork, so by then the white iPhone 4 will be old news…

Over the weekend Scores of British iPhone 4 users said they were late for work on Monday after a software bug meant the alarm on the Apple device failed to adjust when the country’s version of daylight savings time. There was no immediate response from Apple.
Despite more the 3 million phones being launched within the first 3 weeks. The iPhone 4 launch has been without a doubt, the most turbulent launch of an Apple device in quite some time… bad news for Apple because everyone appears to be coming after their neck….
Photos hit the web last week of a Sony Ericsson handset combined with a PlayStation Portable games console. Speculation has been rife for some time that Sony would license its PlayStation brand to the Sony Ericsson mobile arm of its business.
Dozens of major games studios, including Capcom and Electronic Arts, are developing games for Apple’s touch-screen devices, so Sony is in turn is getting into the phone market.
