Timbaland Talks Aaliyah Biopic And New Artist Tink

Super producer Timbaland stopped by The Breakfast Club and spoke on the Aaliyah biopic that aired on Lifetime recently and the backlash it received from fans and critics alike. During and after the airing of the flick, the Internet was abuzz with hilarious memes and gifs that were more entertaining than the film itself, with Timbo even partaking in some of the action himself. All jokes aside, he offered some tips how the film could have been better, as well as sharing some words he received from Alexandra Shipp, the young actress who played the lead role of Aaliyah in the film. Timbaland also spoke his new artist out of Detroit named Tink. He claims the MC has revigorated his passion for music while also premiering live on air, her version of Rick Ross and JAY Z’s ‘Movin Bass’, that was never released.
