Tink Talks Working With Legendary Producer Timbaland & Aaliyah Comparisons

The Chicago native, who happens to be Timbaland’s new artist, stopped
by the Breakfast Club this morning to discuss her debut album Think
Tink, comparisons to Aaliyah, and her thoughts on the competition
between other female hip hop artists. During the interview, Tink revealed that it is “easy” to work with the legendary producer and that Tim “listens just as much as he speaks”. Timbaland visited the Breakfast Club last November and set a high bar for the anticipation of her debut.

Her buzzworthy single “Ratchet Commandments” came under fire by many
critics who felt that the song shames women for being overly sexual.
Tink stood firm behind her song’s message saying that “or the most
part, we have so much of the ‘shake yo ass’ songs or ‘watch me twerk’
type of music. So why not? Why am I being criticized for being the one
out of a million songs that goes against what everybody’s talking
about.”

Watch as Tink offers amazing insight as a fresh new artist.
