Yeasayer – Ambling Alp
Yeasayer is an experimental band based out of Bucktown, USA. They released their debut album All Hour Cymbals in 2007. Since then, they have toured throughout the world. Their new cd Odd Ball is in stores February 9th. The first single is “Ambling Alp.” They’re currently on tour throughout the U.S and Europe until May.

Janelle Monáe – Come Alive (The War Of The Roses)
Janelle Monáe hails from Kansas City, KS. She moved to Atlanta where she met and befriended Big Boi from Outkast. She was featured on their album “Idlewild” and later founded the Wondaland Arts Society. She signed to Bad Boy Records in late 2007. Janelle got a 2009 Grammy nomination in the Best Urban/Alternative Performance for her song “Many Moons” off her album Metropolis: The Chase Suite (Special Edition). “Come Alive” is the first single off her new album Metropolis Suites II & III: The Arch Android due out later this year.

Peter Bjorn and John – Nothing To Worry About
Band from Sweden. Most known for their 2006 break through hit “Young Folks” off the album Writers Block. I first heard them on Drakes mixtape “So Far Gone” when he remade their song “Lets Call It Off.” It was a dope track so I downloaded some of their shit and liked it. Definitly one of my favorite bands out right now. Mick Boogie released the mixtape Re-Living Thing, it was remix of their album Living Thing. “Nothing To Worry About” was the first single off Living Thing, which was released in 2009.

Kenna – Say Goodbye To Love (Remix)
Kenna release his debut album in 2001 called New Sacred Crow. The album was co-produced by Chad Hugo of The Neptunes. His second album Make Sure They See My Face features the song “Say Goodbye To Love” which was nominated for Best Urban/Alternative Performance in the 2009 Grammy Awards. He recently climbed to the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro on the Summit Of The Summit with Lupe Fiasco, Santigold, Jessica Beil and others. His new album Songs For Flight is scheduled to be released later this year.

Empire Of The Sun – Walking On A Dream
Empire Of The Sun are a music duo from Australia composed of Luke Steele and Nick Littlemore. Their debut album Walking On A Dream was released in late 2008. Luke Steele was featured on the first track “What We Talkin’ About” off Jay-Z’s album The Blueprint 3
