The stylish Teairra Mari came by The Breakfast Club to talk about her friendship with Emily B, signing with Rico Love and watching her first episode VH1’s Love & Hip Hop and more.

While Angela did her best to pull facts from Teairra about her being a part of the rumored spin-off for Love and Hip-Hop, Teairra Mari remained mum. On the bright side, Teairra did share how her friendship with Emily B began. “Well we met through mutual friends first and then she started styling me. That’s my girl, I love Emily.”

She talks about encouraging Emily to date saying: “She broke up with [Fabolous] and it’s like, ‘Don’t be stuck, right there, in that situation.’ So, I just want her to move on, but I don’t want to say ‘F Fab.'”

Angela then asked for Teairra’s feelings when she watched the episode she was in on the show. “Crazy, because they feed you so much alcohol and I looked and I was like: ‘Omg, I was so tipsy.’ I was being myself, but I was so tipsy!”

As for her singing career, Teairra discusses signing with Rico Love‘s Division 1.

“Well, me and Rico have a history of doing music together. We create good music, we have a good chemistry. When I asked for my release from Warner Brothers, I just called Rico and [said], ‘I’m a free agent’ and he was like, ‘Do you wanna sign to D1?’ And I was like, ‘Hell yeah.'”
