Sheree Whitfield Talks Real Housewives, Divorce

Shereé Whitfield visited The Breakfast Club to discuss her hit show The Real Housewives of Atlanta, her new single “Who Gon Check Me Boo”, and she clears up various rumors concerning her financial status. Shereé talks about being approached a couple years ago to do a record but she declined. But the producer was very persistent and the song was for charity so she decided to record it. DJ Envy asks about her “crazy” looking ex-husband Bob Whitfield and her attraction to him. Envy also asks about her divorce and it looking like she was “struggling on TV.”

Angela Yee asks Shereé about her fellow RHOA cast-member Phaedra Parks representing her in divorce court. “I love Phaedra as a person, she’s funny as ever, I just love her,” says Shereé. “But as an attorney, that’s not her field. That’s not what she does. So when she volunteered to help me and what you guys didn’t see is that, when I said this is my life, I mean this is my life. I don’t want you to volunteer to do this for the camera and not be proactive outside of the camera. And that’s where I felt Bob came in and filed the papers before her. We talked about her filing these papers. She said if you give me the information, everything I need before Friday which I gave her. And two weeks later we got Bob filing this motion because she’s waiting for the cameras to follow her to court to file my papers which I didn’t feel like was right.” Shereé said she didn’t know the cameras we’re going to be in the courtroom. “It shouldn’t even have been in a real courtroom. So it was all set up and I was really pissed off about that.”

Angela said it seems like Shereé has chilled out since the beginning of the show explaining that she was “controversial” and “argumentative”. Shrereé responds, “Look at me, I’m still arguing on TV. I don’t want to be but it happens. And it’s real. What we have here is a group of women who are not really friends.” She talks about her relationship with the other housewives.

Shereé’s attorneys seized her car after she quit paying the $300,000 lawyer fee she owed. She also talks about: the kids relationship with their father, if she thinks Bob still wants to be with her, if she brings other guys around her kids, if she’s dating anyone, how important is money to her, if she could be with a regular guy, clothing line, possible fitness videos, if she’s sent out nude pictures before, and wanting to work behind the scenes.
