Safaree Samuels On Ex Nicki Minaj, Fallout Of Breakup, Ghostwriting Rumors And More
In what can only be described as one of the most revealing interviews in recent memory, Safaree Samuels aka Scaff Beezy stopped by The Breakfast Club for his first ever on air interview. Samuels, who was the long time boyfriend of rap superstar Nicki Minaj, recently parted ways with the rapstress, and the fall out has not been pretty. From shots being thrown via social media as well as other means, the drama has played out for public consumption.
Today though, Samuels spoke his peace, explaining that he still has a great deal of love and admiration for Minaj but he was actually the one who decided to leave the relationship. When asked why, he expounded by stating that he was shown very little respect, feeling more like an employee rather than a significant other. He also gave his thoughts on Nicki’s rumored new beau Meek Mill, stating he has moved on, and doesn’t feel slighted considering he doesn’t have a friendship with the Philadelphia MC. One of the more striking admissions was that he has been doing quite an amount of writing on Nicki’s albums, which comes on the heels of Minaj chastising other MCs for having assistance with writing raps. Check all of and much more in the extended interview above.
