Weigh In – Should Mista Mista Quit His Day Job?
Mista Mista has emerged as one of the most entertaining new artists in the world of music. Unlike New York, Philadelphia, California or Atlanta, Providence, RI doesn’t spring to mind when mentioning some of music’s elites, yet it is there that Mista Mista fell under Hip Hop’s spell.
Mista Mista is not your conventional Hip Hop artist. He has established his self as an artist who is able to find a happy medium between commercial and underground. By using a sound that is radio friendly, he conveys his messages with clever lyrics and an untimely flow. He brings the fun back to music!
His high-energy lyrics and cunning storytelling ability sets him apart from the average artist who lacks creatively and just emulates what they hear on the radio. He makes music for all people, with a strong emphasis on being you, staying true, and never losing site of who you are. He stands alone in this oversaturated industry with plans to use his talents to influence all walks of life.
After performing locally for some time Mista Mista’s hard work and dedication lead him to open for acts such as Redman & Method Man, Styles P of the Lox, R&B crooner John Legend, The Dream and Rap Superstar Joe Budden to name a few. Since then, he has been touring Colleges along the east coast in hopes to spread the word and brand his name, Mista Mista.
Mista Mista is currently working on his highly anticipated solo project “No Greater Love” with producer/ songwriter LJC and Taktix (BlackKeyz Ent.).
