Domestic Violence Awareness (Funk Flex)

The Breakfast Club addressed a very serious issue on the show about domestic violence. Bossip.com reported that Funkmaster Flex‘s wife had to take out an order of protection against Flex because of his abuse. He was arrested in 2003 for assaulting radio personality Steph Lova and again in 2011 for shoving and harassing his wife.

Domestic violence affects women and children all over the world. As Angela Yee noted, “75% of boys who are present when their Mother’s are beaten were later identified as having behavioral problems and children from homes with domestic violence are 5 to 7 times more likely to experience significant phycological problems.”
