In what is his first major interview, Houston, TX newcomer Chedda Da Connect stopped by The Breakfast Club to discuss his breakthrough single “Flicka Da Wrist” which has been sweeping the nation, as well as other pertinent details in regards to his career. In the interview, he clarified that the song is in no way a reference to drugs, but instead, watches and cooking “eggs.” He also spoke on the recent rift with Bay Area rapper Lil B, who threatened to put a curse on him, a la the NBA’s James Harden, for appropriating his signature dance move. Chedda chalks the curse up to pure superstitions. With stars such as Rihanna, Justin Bieber, and LeBron James showing their appreciation for the song, he also revealed that there is a massive remix on the way but did not reveal the guests, though are remixes floating around the web by the likes of Rick Ross and 2 Chainz. Chedda also speaks on his major label deal, as well as dispelling the notion of being a one hit wonder. Check out the interview above.
