Young Turk Talks Cash Money Records, New Partnership With J Prince & Hot Boyz
Hot Boyz and Cash Money Records’ original member Young Turk visited The Breakfast Club to talk about the beginnings of Cash Money Records, not being happy with the money splits (royalties) and his estranged relationship with Baby, now known as “Birdman”. Recently, they had a Hot Boyz reunion, in which BG could not attend, and he shared that Lil Wayne and his boss Birdman recently came to an agreement. Lil Wayne dropped the lawsuit. In addition, he shared the details about his new partnership with Jay Prince, the workings of his jail sentence of twenty-two years for attempted murder against two police officers and being addicted to heroin and cocaine. Turk started using substances when he was 14-years-old and calls it a “fashion statement” in New Orleans. On a positive note, Turk has been clean for 11 years, and he was able to keep clean since he was in prison.
Watch as Turk talks about his estranged relationships, the music business, and his wife in the video interview.
