Sevyn Streeter paid a visit to The Breakfast Club to talk a little bit about fan appreciation, her relationship with fellow entertainer B.o.B, and writing songs for other artists. When she’s on tour, she likes to go on spa dates with her fans, play her music for them and ask their opinions, in which she hopes will translate into greater album sales. In addition, she was open about her sex life with her boyfriend, and the satisfaction of being choked. When he’s not around, she confesses to using toys for pleasure. On the business front, upon signing to Chris Brown, she says he taught her so much about writing and the importance of the music video. They work together often, and he allows and encourages her to blossom into her own.

She still writes songs for other artists but she admits she took a break to focus on her own album. Now that it’s closed, she’s open to writing more music for others. Streeter says she’s inspired by life, and clears the air about seemingly mentioning former relationships so much. Streeter stated, “I talk about my music and I talk about my truth. There’s a difference. It’s not about bashing anybody. If I didn’t have to mention him at all, I wouldn’t. It’s just a part of my story.”
