Scarface Talks Health Scare, Life and Death & His New Book “Diary of a Madman”

Scarface, the legendary rapper, visited The Breakfast Club this week to talk about having to alter his eating habits and health regimens to stay alive, being “shy” and his new book, which is available today, “Diary of a Madman”. Historically, he hasn’t done much press or interviews and he says it turned out that way because there wasn’t much to talk about. In the interview, he talks about having congestive heart failure, being borderline diabetic, having high blood pressure, an enlarged heart and some kidney damage. In all honesty, according to the artist, he didn’t plan for a long life. He thought he’d be dead by age 24. Now, he’s twenty-years older and couldn’t see himself going anywhere, anytime soon..

Watch as the Houston-native rapper discusses his early days with Geto Boys and his reasoning behind thinking that living is the hard part and dying is easiest in the video interview.
