Rita Ora and Charles Hamilton Talk Connection, Growth & Being Bullied As A Kid

Singer Rita Ora and rapper Charles Hamilton visited the Breakfast Club this morning to promote their new track, “New York Raining” and to talk about how they connected and why they travel together. During the interview, Angela Yee mentioned Hamilton’s previous life and sleeping with a girl after being on Lip Service, and having a girlfriend at the time. Known for saying whatever was on his mind at a previous time, Hamilton states that he is now mature and he will think about what he says before he says it these days. He says he will be wiser about his reactions, in general.

Being from Harlem, somehow Hamilton’s style differed from what was popular when he was coming up, a la Dipset, etc. but he says that Dipset stood for what he was against. He recalls seeing what young people were doing when they listened to Dipset and actually takes influence from Eminem, JAY Z and Fabolous.

Watch as he discusses being bullied in school as a kid via the video interview.
