Producer, singer-songwriter and rapper Rico Love came to The Breakfast Club to talk about his creative process, his unconscious controlling demeanor, reaching out to Wiz Khalifa for “Somebody Else (Remix)”, being wrong about Usher’s “Yeah!”, being a label owner, and his perceptions of success. In the interview, he talks about men not displaying their emotions in the industry or in general. Love talks about how Fat Joe and DJ Khaled run down on artists, making sure that they fulfill what they’ve promised. He talks about Tiara Thomas, their relationship and that he believes that the issues she had put her in a dark space. He clears his name and says that he doesn’t like to hold artists against their will, contractually.
“I believe in her. She’s a superstar,” he says about Tiara Thomas.
