Renee Graziano Talks Mob Wives

Renee Graziano joined The Breakfast Club to discuss her role on VH1’s hit reality show ,Mob Wives. The show follows Renee and 3 other women from Staten Island who live the “mob lifestyle.” Renee’s father, Anthony Graziano, is a former consigliere for the Bonanno crime family and is currently incarcerated in a Federal penitentiary in North Carolina. Her ex-husband and father of her son Junior, was arrested in January along with 126 other mobsters in one of the largest mob busts in U.S. history.

Renee used to work as an assistant stylist so she’s familiar with and knows rappers like 50 Cent & Black Rob. She talks about her father not speaking to her because she did the show. She discusses making up with Karen Gravano, daughter of the infamous rat, Sammy The Bull. “It took me a really long time to understand Karen’s position… I figured your attached to your father, your the same.” She gives her opinion about Drita D’Avanzo marrying Karens ex-boyfriend and talks about her ex-husband being Puerto Rican and bringing him home to meet her father for the first time. She talks about her and Carla Facciolo exchanging words over Twitter because of something Carla’s boyfriend said to her. She also discusses her fight with Drita, being a fan of other reality shows, and tells a story about the first time she watched The Sopranos at 50 Cent’s house.

She discusses how Mob Wives came about and how her sister Jennifer is the creator and executive producer of the show. Angela asked how all the ladies still have money considering their significant others are behind bars. She talks about her relationship with her son AJ, saying she’s a mother first but that he’s her best friend. Lastly, she says she wants to leave the mob life behind but says “I am my father’s daughter and very proud of my family, so it’s a little tough”
