Pill gives his thoughts on Lil’ Wayne pleading guilty on his gun charge in New York. He talks about growing up in Atlanta in the 90’s, losing their apartment because his mom was on drugs, and then having to move around constantly since he was 7 years old. He played the trumpet, played football, ran track, played on the chess team, and made good grades despite the hardships.

Pill talks about his hat and shoes that he keeps from when he was trapping to remind him where he could be back at if he doesn’t keep up the good work. He says he met his dad when he was young, but he wouldn’t recognize him now even if he was sitting right next to him. He talks about not knowing how you get gray hair when he was a child because the people around him were dying so young he didn’t know how to get it.

“You know how they say it takes a village to raise a child? It took like 3 or 4 villages to raise me…”
