Mix Pick: Meek Mill – Dreamchasers 2

Mix Pick: Meek Mill – Dreamchasers 2

The anticipation for Meek Mill‘s project was high at 2:15pm on May 7 and many fumbled around Datpiff or Livemixtapes trying to get their hands on Dreamchasers 2, including myself, while the servers were down at Datpiff.

It was frustrating as hell waiting for Internet servers to clear up (it took almost two hours to clear up), but it was worth the wait!

Meek, who just turned 25, puts his ability to rap on a pedestal!

Dreamchasers 2 bangs with lethal street anthems like “Flexing,” “Lean Wit It,” & “A-1,” and I swear I was starting to feel like I was slinging rocks after a few listens.

Meek Mill also switches it up and delivers radio friendly tracks like “Amen”, “Take U Home” and “Big Dreams”.

It actually feels like Meek tore out rhymes from a personal journal: Took a few rhymes from his personal journal to help you understand where’s he’s from and why he’s seated at the right side of Rick Ross.

“Used To Be:”

“When I was young I started planning it out/My father got killed, I was the man of the house/By the age of 16 man them hammers was out.”

This lyric right chea? This is why he’s seated at the right hand of Rick Ross. Ruh!

If you haven’t given this tape a proper listen by now, stop playing around and check out the stream below.
