ESSENCE kicked it off Grammy weekend in New York City with 2018 ‘Black Women In Music.’ Missy Elliott was awarded with the visionary award and a tribute performance was led by Leikeli47 and Rapsody. During the event, Janet Jackson turned heads when she graced center stage with a heartfelt speech about her longtime friend Missy Elliott. Naturi Naughton, Remy Ma, Tank, and many more attended this amazing event.
