Kandi talks about the new season of Real Housewives of Atlanta which debuts in October, around the same time her abum is scheduled to drop (November). She says the reason Xscape broke up was because one of the members wanted to go solo (not her) after the second album. Then Kandi admits to having crossed the line with Jermaine Dupri, and addresses the group member who put her on blast during a radio interview.

Kandi says she’s working on another song with Kim, and says that Kim’s not the best singer in the world but pulls off the songs she needs her to pull off. Kandi talks about signing to So So Def when she was only 16 and going through different stages of looks, from her tomboyish years to now:

Kandi talks about Xscape not getting along, and destroying themselves. She says she wasn’t the one who left the group, it was another member who wanted to go solo. She then addresses crossing the line with Jermaine Dupri, and how one of the group members hated on her (this has to be either Tamika or LaTocha) and put her business out there during a radio interview:

“But just like anybody, sometimes you can work with people and you be like, hmm I wonder how he is in the bedroom, you know, and you just try it out… we hung out, we was friends, like playing pool, talking trash and then you know you hear somebody say yeah I’m a beast, I’m this, I’m that, you know how you can be around your friends talking about sex or whatever and then you be thinking like, I wonder is it that good, you know? Let’s be realistic, it wasn’t me trying to get anything out of the situation. We already had hit records. We already had hits. It wasn’t like I was trying to do it to get somewhere. It was just out of curiosity.”

Then Kandi says her former bandmate who put her on blast tried to apologize after:

“When she did that it was really kinda foul to me and that’s really the reason why I would never go back to the group because when somebody just straight lies…and then she tried to add some whole other stuff that was totally false. When I had talked to her after it happened and she called to apologize to me, I said you know what, you call and apologizing to me but you went on radio in NY to say this about me so everything that you put out there, nobody knows you apologizing right now. Apologize publicly if you want me to take this seriously. Don’t say it to me after you done put all this craziness out there about me.”

Kandi says she’s cool with NeNe now, even though they had some issues last year. She says she’s considering opening up a second store in addition to her TAGS Boutique that she has now. As far as dating, she has no one special but admits that she also likes the guys who are no good even though her mom says you’re supposed to love the guy who loves you more:
