In episode 5 of Son Of A Gun, Cory Gunz prepares for his upcoming showcase and Nick Cannon seeks Russell Simmons advice again. Despite Peter Gunz‘ loyalty to Ed Woods, Ed ultimately dead’s himself when him, Nick, Peter, & Cory sit down together to discuss their management situation.
In the season finale, Cory’s mom is in town. His mother left when he was young and he hasn’t seen her in a long time. When Peter tells Cory his moms is in the town, Cory’s hesitant to see her. He eventually meets up with her but has a hard time saying much because of his feelings towards her.
