Chris Weidman and Anthony Johnson Talk The UFC/MMA, New York City Ban & Upcoming Madison Square Garden

UFC/MMA athletes Chris “The All-American” Weidman (30-year-old who is the current middleweight champion) and Anthony “Rumble” Johnson (31-year-old light heavyweight) visited The Breakfast Club to talk about their humble beginnings, being disappointed for not being able to fight Jon “Bones” Jones, and how long they take off between fights. In addition, they talk about how injuries can sometime make you stronger. Wiedman states that the UFC is exactly what you can do in the streets, you just can’t bring any weapons to the party. During the interview, Anthony Johnson and Chris Weidman talk about how they both got into mixed martial arts.

“Boxing is just throwing hands,” Chris Wiedman continues.

Watch the video interview now to see Weidman talk about fighting someone who tested him when he and his friends were out, whether or not them and the other fights are friends outside of the ring and more.
