On January 30th, Black Enterprise’s Senior Vice President/Chief Content Officer Alfred Edmond, Jr. and content producer Courtney Connley paid a visit to the Breakfast Club to discuss how professionals can get their finances in order for the year 2015. With the current climate of today’s economy, the pair dished on tax season, early retirement funds, building great credit, as well as how important it is for people to have an entrepreneurial mindset when tackling the job market. When the topic arose about how young people should invest their money, Edmond expounded on the value of home ownership and overall entrepreneurship being the key component. Edmond also took the time to speak on his new book, “Loving In The Grown Zone”, which healthy relationships and how it correlates to your financial security. The pair used great analogies when talking about Valentine’s Day and how to appropriate your gifts based on the length of the relationship.
