Angie Martinez Talks Healthy Latin Eating & Roc Nation
In support of her latest cook book ‘Healthy Latin Eating‘, Power 105.1’s Angie Martinez paid a visit to her colleagues on The Breakfast Club to give some details on the book and how it came about. The conversation was not held strictly to food though as Charlamagne inquired about Angie’s absence from the ‘Ladies Night‘ performance alongside Lil Kim, Missy Elliot and Da Brat. Martinez quelled thoughts of a possible rift by explaining that she was preoccupied as she was training for the most recent New York City marathon. In a major career move, Angie recently became a client of Roc Nation Management, and explained how it is much easier to expand her brand with personnel who are familiar with the culture of Hip-Hop and the role she plays in it. One of the more interesting moments in the interview was the revelation that Martinez had a rift with Bad Boy head honcho Diddy years ago but declined to speak on it despite DJ Envy’s persistence.
