Action Bronson Talks New Album, Weight Loss & Crazy Collaborations

Action Bronson and long-time collaborator Alchemist paid a visit to The Breakfast Club to talk about his new weight loss of forty pounds as a result of healthy eating (banana shakes, peanut butter, raw cocoa, wheatgrass, ginger shack, and drinking two gallons of water), his debut major album “Mr Wonderful”, marketing plans and making a remix for “Terry” with Pitbull and MF DOOM (which he claims to have the DOOM verse for already), details album production and inspiration, fans understanding his growth as an artist and whether he cares about album sales or not.

Although it’s only been 5-6 years since Bronsolini’s been rapping, the Albanian Queens-based rapper just started to get into different types of sounds, experimenting with vocal styles and the technical aspects of his product. In addition, he talks about his first time taking shrooms in South Africa and being speechless when seeing Carlos Santana, a musician he wishes to collaborate with in the future. He counts Carlos’ music as the first album he listened to in his dad’s car on the way to Bear Mountain.

Bronson also shared which rappers he’s constantly in touch with and wanting to resurrect Freaky Tah from the Lost Boyz, if he could have him do his ad libs. He talks about not understanding the way “label people” think at all, but he says it is necessary to talk to and build relationships with people. Watch the informative video interview below.
