XXL will be releasing their annual Freshmen issue for 2011 in the coming weeks.  Here are my predictions of the ten new rappers who will appear on the cover.  A couple of these guys are a year late… Yela, Waka, Vado, and even Jay probably should’ve been on it last year.

Cam’ron announced recently that Vado wouldn’t be appearing on the freshmen cover.  He said that since he couldn’t be guaranteed the placement of Vado on the cover, it wouldn’t be a good idea for him to appear on it since he’s going to be on the cover the upcoming The Source magazine, alongside Cam and Jim Jones. (Last year, J. Cole was on the Freshmen 10 cover and on The Source magazine cover by himself around the same time.)

So if Vado’s out, I’m going with Kendrick Lamar. 

Other possible candidates include Meek Mill, XV, Stalley, Reek Da Villain, & Emilio Rojas.
