Wonder Mix Pick – Live From The Soho House NYC!
Thanks to Team Epiphany I recently got to play the members only club – Soho House NYC. I was able to record my set (clocking in at over 4 hours) – and here it is for all a yall!
This mix goes everywhere – and it’s only called “House Beats” – not actually all “House Music.” The “House Beats” event is thrown every Monday at Soho House NYC on the rooftop and while only a select few can actually attend the party, now everybody can get a sense of how it goes down.
I suggest downloading the entire mix for the total experience – but I have also broken it down into (close to) 1 hour segments to make it easier on your Hard Drive/iPod.
Part 1 of the mix is mad mellow, as we were just getting the party started and features everything from 90’s Hip-Hop to Yacht Rock to TV Theme songs. This is my favorite part of the mix!
Part 2 features mad British R&B, crazy blends, and classic Hip-Hop. The party is kicking into 2nd gear at this point.
Part 3 is prime time action – mad uptempo bang-bangs! Put this on while you’re getting ready for the club, holmes!
Part 4 is the wind-down – featuring crazy amounts of New Jack Swing (my favorite!), some NYC classics and some more Yacht Rock!
