Tattoos Gone Wrong: Amber Rose, JD, Brandy, and Nas
I always say that it’s a terrible idea to get your significant other’s name tattooed on your body. Call me a pessimist, but the odds are things won’t work it and you’ll be stuck with a permanent reminder of someone you would rather forget.
Here are just a few examples:
Brandy had Quentin Richardson’s face etched on her back after he proposed to her in 2004. After they broke up, his face morphed into a cat.
Jermaine Dupri has an image of Janet Jackson on his ribcage as a gift to her for her birthday, and they are always allegedly breaking up.
And Nas has to be regretting the image of Kelis on the inside of his right forearm right now, as they battle in court over child and spousal support. Makes you want to cut out your forearm with a knife.
What about singer Melinda Santiago, who had Usher’s name tattooed on her waist, and Tyrese literally got out of bed with her because he couldn’t take THAT constant reminder.
Just listen to this prime example of a tattoo gone wrong, from Amber Rose, who thought she was in love with Ernest at the tender age of 15. The tattoo has since been covered with roses. She said her mom told her she would regret it and she did, almost immediately. But poor Ernest has her name tatted up twice on his body!
