Santigold, Lupe Fiasco, Jessica Biel & Kenna on Top of the World
Good luck to Santigold, who leaves to go to Africa today for the Summit on the Summit journey. She’ll be climbing to the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest freestanding mountain in the world. Santi will be joined by artist and creator Kenna, as well as others including Lupe Fiasco and Jessica Biel, to fight the global clean water crisis.
All the participants had to undergo strenuous training for months to make sure their bodies are prepared for the 19,340 ft climb, and shortage of breath, headaches, and dizziness that will occur from the high altitude. In addition, there will be no bathrooms so no showers and no comfortable potty moments.
Good luck to all the climbers, and you can check out their journey in real time and donate to the cause at Summit on the Summit.
