Ludacris Talks About His Next Album, Industry Differences, Addresses Drake’s Lyrics
Rapper Ludacris pays a visit to The Breakfast Club to talk about his new album, and dropping an EP to win his fans back and show them that he’s still here. He detailed his relationship with his longtime management and friend Shaka, working at a radio station and being played on the competition’s station early in his career. During the interview, Luda addressed a Drake line on “How About Now” and confirmed that he had relations with the young lady the Toronto-native rapper rapped about in that song. He says he didn’t know that they were together. Subsequently, Drake came to apologize to Ludacris privately. Luda accepted but he suggested that Drake apologize publicly in the same format he dissed him.
Fast forward, he’s been in the industry for fifteen years and he’s still interested in pleasing his fans. He says he came into the game at a time when rappers could “juice” it. In addition, Ludacris shares his feelings about the mention of his late costar Paul Walker at the Comedy Central roast of Justin Bieber.
