Drake Takes Manhattan

Drake Takes Manhattan

It was 9pm… the lights turned low, the ladies started screaming, the band started playing  and out walked Drake; dressed in a camoflauge shirt and black pants. The sold out show from his Light Dreams & Nightmares tour went down last night (9/28) at Radio City Music Hall. In his first major headlining show in New York, Drake was impressive and proved that he’s a star.  The crowd’s energy was crazy!!  The ladies were screaming for Drake like 13 year old girls screaming for Justin Bieber.  He performed for over an hour and a half running through his catalouge of hits.  He brought out some guests (Baby, J. Cole, Young Jeezy, Tyga, Mack Maine) and even shouted out some of his peers  (Wiz Khalifa, Kid Cudi) who he respects.  The highlight of the night for me was when he performed “The Resistance,” track three from his debut album Thank Me Later.  To anybody still hating on Drake needs to get a grip, for he is one of the best artists out with a chance to be one of the greatest that ever did it. Yeah, I said it!  So much great music from a kid who burst on the scene just a couple years ago.  Here’s the list of songs he performed…
