Two cast members from Power visit The Breakfast Club to talk about the second season, calling it a “sexy season”, the different character roles and what to look out for next. In addition, during the interview, Naturi Naughton mentions Lil Kim possibly wanting someone else — perhaps, a qualified actress to play her role in the movie about her late lover, Notorious BIG. Both cast members talk about why they chose to play the roles of Tasha and Tommy on Power, whether or not Empire is like Power at all and explains the differences. Joe Sikora shares that he’s from the hood in Chicago. Lastly, Naturi Naughton talks about being kicked out of the girl group 3LW. She says she was hit with chicken in the face, and the group ended at that moment. The show comes back on on June 6.
