Hopefully Charles Hamilton has invested in some serious headgear because he’s been taking shots all month.
The first shot was fired by his girl/personal assistant, Briana Latrise, (during a very public rap battle gone wrong) and landed directly on his chin. Pause. Then, came the J. Dilla debacle which brought on shots from all of Detroit.
One of the main ghost-busters was Detroit M.C Marv One, who took fired back in anger once the perennially pink rapper listed J. Dilla as a producer on his major label debut, This Perfect Life (which is set to drop for free online). Hamilton said he did that in an effort to help out Dilla’s mother, Maureen “Ma Dukes” Yancey, and the J. Dilla estate.
In his exclusive interview with Angela Yee, Marv One explained why he clowned Charles, going so far as to diss the rapper in his song “Chucky”.
Listen here and let us know who won this battle.
